Fascinating to see an extended cut of this film which I first saw on release in 1991. I'm not sure the extra scenes add much to the story, but it's useful to see a comparison with the original cut. This DVD has many extra features and is well worth purchasing.

Beatty and Benning shine, their best roles. Great movie story.
